Bethel Church is a congregation of the Reformed Church in America (RCA). the RCA traces its roots in American to 1623 and now includes nearly 1000 congregations stretching from New York to California and from Washington state to Florida. Why We're Here.... Bethel Church was organized in Kalamazoo's Eastwood Community in 1934. Since its very beginning Bethel has maintained a presence and ministry in Kalamazoo's northeast side. We are committed to making a difference here because we believe.... Bethel Church exists to share God's love with others... What We're About... WORSHIP * Blending the best of historic and contemporary expressions of Christian faith * Bringing us into God's presence with others for fellowship and renewal * Bridging the gap between the way things are and the way they should be done. EDUCATION FAMILY ACTIVITIES: Children are welcome participants in all worship and programs ADULT EDUCATION: Study, sharing and reflection in a small group setting AUDIO - VISUAL LIBRARY: Books, videos and tapes for all ages ADULT CHOIR: for the music lover who enjoys great music and great fun How We Help... EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY: Offering emergency help with food and basic necessities. Open Monday evening and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. CONGREGATIONAL HEALTH MINISTRY: Offering blood pressure checks, health education, health and safety fairs. PANCAKE BREAKFASTS: Offering time to visit with friends and meet neighbors at 9:00am - 10:00am on the 2nd Saturday of each month from September through May. PASTORAL SERVICES: Offering pastoral care and support in times of crisis, stress or loss. WEEKLY WORSHIP: Offering time to connect with God and other.
